StaffPlan are a rapidly growing company at the forefront of providing scheduling systems to the buoyant social care market and leveraging the new NFC technology in mobile workforce management. We need an experienced infrastructure manager to head up a small team who manage our servers (for internal use and hosting), desktops, phone systems and software licences. An important part of the job is to plan and implement fairly regular system expansions - often within a finite (but growing) budget, so a creative pragmatist would be the ideal candidate.

The successful applicant will be an excellent problem solver with proven architecture design skills, good time management and prioritisation. Excellent communication skills both written and verbal are a requirement, as is experience of instituting and following procedures as we are working towards our ISO 27001. Some weekend and late night work (often at the data centre near the M4 in Maidenhead so a car would be an advantage) will be required.

Technical Requirements: MCSE (Windows Server 2003 or better), VMWare ESX, understanding of CISCO equipment (ASA5510 / PIX), SQL Server 2k5 Std

Would be an advantage: Linux, Asterisk, Exchange Server, understanding of SPLA.

Salary commensurate with experience, with a performance and profit related bonus.

They are seeking a customer-focused individual to join their support team in South London. The support team are critical in maintaining 24/7 operations for our customers, and can have an impact on the lives of hundreds of thousands of service users.

The successful candidate will have experience in a customer facing role and have the desire to excel in providing excellent customer care. Experience of providing support on-line and over the telephone would be a distinct advantage. Formal technical qualifications, though an advantage, are not required, but a knowledge and confident use of Windows applications is essential. Full training in the applications to be supported will be given.

Salary 18,000-22,000 depending on qualifications and experience. StaffPlan operates a performance and profit related bonus scheme.

Friendly independent software house providing applications for the community care sector requires trainer / implementer to train users on applications that are at the forefront of the Government’s agenda for social care. The successful applicant would normally work on client site for three days per week (normally travelling by train), with two days either at our offices near Clapham Common or from home. Occasional international travel may be involved.

At least two years training experience and excellent Windows application skills are required for this position. Some knowledge of community care provision or commissioning would be beneficial.

Classroom training

On line training

Preparation of CBT materials

User documentation

Additional Information Location: Mostly on customer sites normally around the South and Midlands.

Salary: 20,000.00 - 25,000.00 GBP per year plus performance and profit related bonus
